DANCE This Workshop + Auditions with Mike Song

STG’s DANCE This is seeking talented dancers of ages 15 and over with strong hip hop/street dance background to work with Co-Founder & Choreographer of the Kinjaz, Mike Song. This is a professional development and training opportunity for interested dancers to be part of DANCE This production and work with dance professionals in the industry in a high-quality production at the Moore Theatre.

Auditions + Staging Rehearsal with Mike Song| MANDATORY ATTENDANCE
April 16 from 6-9pm (Auditions + Workshop)
April 17 from 5-9pm (Staging Rehearsal)
April 18 from 10-6pm (Staging Rehearsal)
April 19 from 10-6pm (Staging Rehearsal)
April 20 from 5-9m (Staging Rehearsal)

ADDITIONAL DATES REQUIRED
Additional rehearsals with local rehearsal director in May/June

ABOUT DANCE THIS
Seattle Theatre Group (STG) has been producing DANCE This for the past 28 years as its signature dance program that brings together youth and adults together to collaborate and share their culture through the art of dance. This program provides local dancers a unique opportunity to work with each other and with renowned international dance artists as well national choreographers.

ABOUT MIKE SONG
Mike Song is a director/choreographer from Los Angeles, and Co-founder of the internationally renowned dance company, KINJAZ. As a choreographer and performer, he has been featured on NBC’s World of Dance, MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, Coachella, and the Red Bull Dance Your Style & BC One World Finals. His choreography credits include: Justin Bieber, TroyBoi, BabyMonster, Treasure, Got7, Aaron Kwok, NBA2K, League of Legends, and Disney’s “Vampirina”. He has also served as a creative consultant for global brands such as Nike and Redbull. Most recently, he has been a recurring judge on the hit Korean TV series “Street Woman Fighter”. Mike is on a mission to create meaningful experiences through movement, media, and mentality.
