Spring Class: Puppetry – Create & Rehearse

Join us for a hands-on puppetry workshop, a two-session exploration of the art form. On April 23, we will focus on hand puppetry and on April 30 we will explore the world of bunraku puppetry. Using simple DIY materials like balloons, styrofoam, and masking tape, you will build your own rudimentary puppets and bring them to life. Learn the basics of movement, gaze, and breath, and practice creating thought and character in objects. No experience necessary, just curiosity and a sense of play.
