Visualizing Korean Cinema

Visualizing Korean Cinema is a student art exhibition hosted by Studio S Fine Arts, with support from the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle, Encourage Art, and the BelRed Arts District.

Featuring original artwork inspired by Korean films, the exhibition invites students to explore cinema through film interpretation and scene illustration, using realistic, stylized, and abstract approaches.

More than an art show, it is a cultural and educational project that encourages young artists to see film as a way to understand society, history, and identity.

A special reception will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 6 PM, featuring a cello and violin duet by daughter and father, Lena Shea and violinist Brendan Shea. They will perform music inspired by Korean cinema. (https://www.brendansheaviolin.com/home)
